Meet the Team

Nick was born and raised in Seattle WA and studied Communications at Western Washington University. Prior to Jobscan, Nick worked in beverage sales where he led the PNW team and helped independent brands grow their business. Joining the world of SaaS in 2018, Nick has found his niche in tech sales. An avid wonderer, Nick aspires to continue traveling and learning from cultures all around the world.

Misty also worked as a physical therapist and is a rockstar at heart. She loves spending time jamming and playing all kinds of musical instruments with her four-year-old son.

When he’s not looking for bugs, Miguel spends most of his time trading the financial markets and helping out his wife in homeschooling their two kids.

Apart from doing virtual customer support, Ann also works as an Accounts Receivables assistant. She spends most of her spare time with family, especially her two young children. She enjoys a sedentary lifestyle filled with TV, the latest Netflix movies, and a moderate amount of unhealthy food. Ann’s dream vacation spot is the Maldives.

Catherine earned her Business degree from Silliman University, Philippines. She spent much of her career working in BPO’s holding supervisory and managerial posts. She’s traveled to different countries in Asia and worked in Singapore. She also lived in France for three years and earned her French Language certificate at the Université de Nantes. She has a certificate in Digital Marketing from Udacity. She speaks English, intermediate French, and Filipino (the national language of the Philippines).

Riza has worked in the Customer Service industry for 12 years (and going) and recently transitioned from a corporate career to a remote WFH set up. In her free time, she does what she’s passionate about- cooking.

Simon has been helping rapidly growing enterprises deliver services to the web for more than 20 years as a network engineer, freelance developer and systems administrator. When he’s not crafting infrastructure, he is walking dogs.

I’ve been in digital media for over 12 years as a creator and marketer. I’ve grown my own media brands and worked with companies to grow B2B, B2C, and D2C content strategies.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me working on a handmade leather project. I also enjoy hiking, but the best hiking we have in North Texas is a rocky trail, so I love road trips. My husband and I usually do a couple per year.

I’m Liana, Jobscan’s new Senior Data Analyst. Previous to Jobscan I was working as a senior data analyst at a grocery delivery startup called MilkRun. I love problem solving and working with different teams on all kinds of projects. My favorite part of being a data analyst is simplifying answers to big questions and communicating data in an easy-to-consume way.

Outside of work I like to paint, cook (and eat) good food, ski, surf and just generally be outdoors.

I’m a software developer with a passion for music and poetry. I absolutely love erudite music and consider myself quite knowledgeable in this area. When I’m not coding, I spend my free time playing the piano or video games. I’m particularly drawn to classical forms and metrics when it comes to poetry. In addition to my creative pursuits, I’m also a member of Mensa and was the former South American champion on the 7x7x7 Rubik’s Cube. I also enjoy playing board games and computer games as a fun way to unwind. I have a cat that I absolutely adore and because of her, I started to work, so I could buy her more treats. Overall, I’m a person with a variety of interests and talents that keep me busy both at work and at home.

Lucas is a sales professional with a background in software development. Prior to joining Jobscan, he operated his own Software Development Consulting Business where he fell in love with building relationships with clients. When he’s not driving sales, Lucas enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and cheering for his favorite hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks!

Hi! I’m Tom, a Business Development Rep at Jobscan. As a recent MBA graduate with experience in sales environments, I’m thrilled to help Jobscan reach new heights.

Outside of work, I am a professional lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League. I love everything outdoors, quality time with friends/family, and sports! I’m passionate about learning and relationship building.

Elyssa was raised in Washington state but is probably the least outdoorsy person ever. She enjoys all things coffee, skincare and cozy books! Outside of her HR duties, you can find Elyssa cuddling with her dog, caring for her houseplants and researching new spas to explore!

Kelsey is a writer and digital marketer with a background in crafting content for medical aesthetics, dental, and eye care practices. She’s a city girl at heart, but enjoys a casual hike in the mountains. During her off-time, you can find her watching true crime, reading her favorite novels, or taking a dance class.

Liyana has had a long career in higher education, most recently in the Career Development space. As a Career Coach, she’s helped many job seekers find their place in the Canadian tech industry and has dedicated much of her time to supporting the growth of the Vancouver tech scene. She brings this industry knowledge to the Customer Success team at Jobscan, ensuring our client’s Jobscan journey is not just smooth but truly exceptional.

Outside of work, when Liyana is not catching up on the latest reality TV, you’ll find Liyana baking up a storm in her kitchen, recipe-testing new cakes for her next dinner party.

A DevOps Engineer, having spent time navigating the worlds of containerization and orchestration in both cloud and on-prem settings. I genuinely love learning, and my curiosity keeps me forever eager to absorb new knowledge. Collaboration is something I treasure, valuing the exchange of fresh ideas within a team. Outside of the tech sphere, you’ll catch me camping with my family and savoring the simple joys of life. And yes, I must admit, I’m a big fan of coffee.

Tyler is a full-stack developer who loves writing thoughtful code and collaborating with teams. When he’s not behind the screen, he enjoys exploring relaxing hobbies such as collecting and writing reviews for board games, practicing archery, reading philosophical books, and visiting local libraries. These days, he’s also into writing a fantasy novel!

Originally from Moldova, I began my career driving impactful projects for youth empowerment at the National Youth Council of Moldova. Transitioning to the digital space, I navigated diverse industries such as cryptocurrency, agriculture tech, private aviation, and sports in a fractional product management role. Upon relocating to Canada, I immersed myself in the hospitality startup scene, refining property management software. Now at Jobscan, I’m dedicated to building software that empowers jobseekers to secure more interviews.

Outside work I am either running, rock-climbing, growing indoor plants or training at Jiu Jitsu. I love reading fiction, especially the classics or the history literature, including historical fantasy.

I am a 36-year-old mother of 2 from Negros Occidental, Philippines; I’m a dedicated professional who previously served as an Administrative Aide for a Local Government Unit and Freelance Virtual Assistant. I joined Jobscan, Customer Support team, on March 20, 2024.

Outside the realm of professional endeavors, I enjoy reading and writing, and immersing myself in movies during my leisure hours. Surprisingly, I find solace in household chores, considering them as enjoyable hobbies. Running errands is akin to a mini-vacation, a refreshing break from routine.

I live in the smallest capital city in Canada (Fredericton, New Brunswick). I have been a marketing pro for over five years with mostly B2B experience – I’ve also a whole lifetime of work before that. I am a cinephile, NFL enthusiast, casual gamer, footie player, and I go to Church every Sunday.

Kelsey brings over a decade of Administrative support experience, with a niche for planning memorable events and fine tuning business operations. Originally from the polarizing climates of the Midwest and the Arizona desert, she decided to find a happy medium to lay down her family roots in the PNW just outside of Seattle.

When she’s not working you can find her relaxing by the water with her family, taking in the PNW Magic or diving into creative projects and getting her hands messy with paint.

Teresa grew up in Taipei and Shanghai, and spent 10 years living in Shanghai. She is currently based in Taipei and passionate about building a career as a remote Executive Assistant. Teresa thrives on identifying challenges faced by executives and solving them quickly and effectively.

Her background includes experience at The Walt Disney Company, a family office, a sports company, and Arc.dev. She is fluent in both English and Chinese.

Camel is a Full-Stack Engineer with 8+ years of experience in web architecture, AI-driven tools, and performance optimization. He’s passionate about building scalable, efficient solutions that bring real value and support business growth.

Sindy is a results-driven marketing professional with 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing and project management. She’s passionate about growth, both personal and professional, and loves connecting with people across cultures. Outside of work, you’ll often find her hiking, dancing bachata, or planning her next adventure around the world.

Have over 10+ years of experience in the accounting field within the software industry. My expertise includes both corporate accounting and management accounting, where I focused on providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions.
